The hucksterish carnival barker of change, B Hussein Obama, has apparently secured the democratic party nomination, at least by delegate count - so far.

In a few months we will be able to see if Alciabades was right about the nature of democracies - whether or not the American people can be trusted with their own self-governance.

One wonders how an overtly Marxist candidate could be taken seriously - FDR and Willy Jeff not withstanding.
